MTN Nigeria First Digital TV Broadcasting Service

Like seriously, this days MTN has been the talk especially when it comes to data bundles. Now it seems the story has changed a bit or has made another headline because MTN Nigeria has launched its first ever digital television broadcasting service. It is the mobile telecom network first every broadcast service. One of its kind i tell you like no other.

From now on, Nigerians will be abke to watch Tv programs on their various smartphone and also on several applicable electronic devices with the aid of platforms such as Whatsapp, Facebook, BlackBerry and Others.


This mobile television innovation is very nice and its a good thing its coming when MTN now has launched their 4G LTE Network here in Nigeria. Making it very possible for the mobile Tv to be at its best.


A news report regarding a statement made by the CEO, Of MTN Nigeria, Mr. Ferdi Moolman, he said that "subscribers will have the freedom to watch their favourite programmes when they choose the MTN Video on-Demand service, rather than having to watch at a specific broadcast time”


Also he was saying, - “Once we commence full commercial activities, the TV service will deliver an exciting bouquet of rich local and international content to Nigerians”


The Chief Executive Officer, made this press statements at the launch of this great innovation in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.


It should also be noted that the Nigeria Broadcasting Commission, NBC had earlier issued a 700MHz spectrum license ti the MTN network. This as a result will allow MTN to deliver a good broadcast regards of what ever issues.
